One person was killed Thursday when a semi left the roadway on Interstate 70 in Geary County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol says it happened just after 6 p.m. in the westbound lanes, about two miles west of Junction City. The truck reportedly left the roadway to the right, entered a ditch, re-entered the roadway and then rolled.
The driver, 41-year-old Christopher Poare, of Wichita, was pronounced dead at the scene.
